About Me
Dr. Kelly Beatty, originally from Kentucky, received her M.D. from Ohio State University then came west for her pediatric residency at Children's Hospital Oakland, fulfilling a long-time dream of living in California. She began her primary care career in Concord in 1991 and established a thriving, fun and fulfilling practice. Another "career" came calling in 1998 when she had her first child, Chandley. After what turned out to be the worlds' longest maternity leave (8 years!), including having two more babies — Corinne (born in 2000) and Cason (born in 2003) — and working harder at home than she ever had as a doctor, she realized she was ready return to pediatrics. In 2006 she rejoined her old practice, reconnected with many of her old patients and established warm relationships with lots of new ones. She enjoys spending free time with her family, as well as reading, arts and crafts, skiing and Starbucks.
